What I have to say doesn't disprove the notion of Wormatil as 
Occlumens, but consider:

Voldemort has caught Wormtail in lies when Wormtail was trying to 
deceive him, albeit in small matters, e.g., the initial scene at the 
cemetary.

Legilmency is not on automatic pilot, but must be used by the wizard 
on purpose.  Would DD use this to pry on his allies without any 
prior reason to suspect them?  Would that not be considered rude?  
Perhaps he would, but the concept should be given some thought, at 
least.
