Weird thought about LV & Wormtail

I don't remember of a single time that 
Wormtail has been called Peter since POA.  

Going off on a tangent here,  but a thought just
struck me.  Has anyone else noticed that LV addresses
all the DEs either by their first or last names? 
Pettigrew seems to be the only exception to this rule
as Voldemort always refers to him by his nickname. 
Could there be some special reason for this or is it
just coincidence?
