Err, that was my subject line.  However, my question was:
"was the US audio edition of _Prisoner of Azkaban_ altered from the US
book form?  I don't own copies of the books."

the books to compare to the audio.

If the Lexicon is always infallible, then I could make a guess both the US
and UK books are identical in this area and the audio rendition is off
since it's very improbable for 'bangs' to be used in the UK edition...
This then leaves me with the question of what was the US text, taking into
account the Lexicon references no discrepancy, since it must be identical
to the UK edition.

Hm, my subject line does kinda tie into my question.

Ah.  Which might explain why there is no reference at the Lexicon since
'hair' would easily translate over.
