I was listening to POA while trying to sleep and then I heard a reference
to Harry flattening his *bangs* before meeting the driver, Ernie, on the
Knight Bus.>
In the book it reads "flattened his HAIR" (pg 34,Am. POA)
On the other hand, the word "fringe" is used in the Am. audio of OoTP, though
I can't find the place it's used. I can not remember the word "bangs" used
in any of the books, though I may have overlooked it.
I noticed that a LOT of vocabulary and expression was not Americanized in
OotP, for which I'm very glad.
