Ah yes, I've located the fringe benefits! It does say fringe - I
missed it in the middle of all the dots and hyphens. (p.34 UK edition)
Trouble is, that at the back of my mind, I always associate "bangs"
with "curls" - don't ask me why, it's something I must have picked up
along the way years ago.
