I'm still confused about the prophecy

But the prophecy does have useful information in it. Voldemort has no
idea that he has marked Harry as "his equal", or that "the power"
Harry has to defeat him is something he is completely ignorant of.  

I would think the Order would want to keep this information from
Voldemort at all costs. I stated this earlier in response to Steve,
but the fact that Voldemort is in the dark about Harry's potential
gives Harry an upper hand here. If Voldemort were to find out more
specifics about 'the power' and the fact that Harry is, in some way,
his equal, he will have time to research and prepare. Harry will have
lost the element of surprise. And frankly, I think one of the biggest
things he has going for him right now is Voldemort's ignorance.
