"Do you really think that DD would have told the real Moody, who
apparently opposed the use of Unforgiveables even on DEs, to Imperio
the students? I think it's completely out of character. But then, I
don't buy the DD as ruthless puppetmaster theory."

I do not believe in DD as a ruthless puppet master either. However, I could
see him asking the real Moody to teach the students, in order for them to
learn how to resist and protect themselves. After all, he believes that
they will have need to protect themselves. I also believe that DD knows
everything that goes on at Hogwarts. The DADA classes were the talk of the
town at Hogwarts. Wouldn't he have known Crouch/Moody was teaching the
curses? Everyone else did. So, if it wasn't his idea, why did he allow it
to continue? That should have been a glaring warning about Moody, if the
idea was not Dumbledore's
A question ... where does it say that Moody doesn't use or doesn't believe
in using the unforgivable curses/ can you tell me a chapter? I have audio
and braille books, so print page numbers won't be helpful, but I can find it
by looking at the right chapter. Thanks.
