I thought the same thing you did. The only way that Sirius's bike 
would fit for Hagrid would be if the bike could somehow adjust it's 
size depending on the driver. It's a shape shifting transportation 
vehicle.  Maybe it's also the Weasley's car?! 

By the way that car is awfully sentient for a machine. 

It would be nice to see DD and Minera using their transfiguration 
skills for a change...
