Cindy:
Nah... It works the same way the Weasley's Ford was enchanted...<snip>
Kimberly:
I wonder if there's any possibility that Sirius' motorbike was
transformed INTO the Weasley's car?...<snip>
vmonte:
<snip>It's a shape shifting transportation vehicle. Maybe it's also
the Weasley's car?!<snip>
lol.. First of all, I definitely like how the above three thoughts
were in three posts almost in a row. Second of all, I'd like to
comment. <g> Didn't Molly say in CS (from memory, forgive
me) "Imagine a wizard buying an old car from a Muggle shop and
telling his wife all he wanted to do was see how it works, when
really he was enchanting it to make it *fly*." May just be me, but I
have doubts about the possibility that the magical flying motorcycle
would be transfigured, sent back to a Muggle shop, and then that a
wizard would happen to buy the same transfigured magical motorcycle
and enchant it to make it fly *again*. It's possible, though, I
guess. Or maybe that's not really what happened, and the reason
Arthur answered her nervously is because he was lying to her about
its origin, rather than because she found out he had enchanted it.
But why would he lie to her about its origin, assuming that he knew
it himself? And why would he have told that *particular* lie, if it
was so easy to expose once she saw or heard of it flying? I guess it
was a good lie, though, considering who Arthur is. Or maybe we should
watch out for some of that other Muggle stuff he fools around with? I
don't know. If not for that one CS reference, this undecided post
would probably be completely pointless. *sheepish grin*
Here's to hoping you got something other than useless rambling out of
that...
