Ah yes, but was it a difficult temptation to resist? Although I
believe Harry to have had a quick flash of what it might be like
having everything back, I don't think he seriously could have
considered accepting the offering of that disgusting "thing" (our own
Voldy) that he had in front of his eyes.

During his first year at Hogwarts, he was told by people he at last
was able to trust all about what a piece of scum Voldy is. He never
questioned it. I think, though, that at the age of 16, it would be
almost inevitable for him to THINK for HIMSELF at last about good and
evil. And oh no, he won't suddenly become a DE. But he might be
looking for something new in his life. Something preferably
unconnected with the shite (let's face it, he's had a lot of that, and
is sick of it, too) that is his life. A new aspect that might make
things look different. I believe he will be wildly trying to get awy
from the truth of the prophesy. Ready to grab at anything that (or
who) suggests it to be untrue or avoidable.

It is easy to lead a desparate person astray.

I have no special prime candidate, although I find the Luna Lovegood
idea interesting.
