I don't have the book with me right now, but I remember the book says the eavesdropper 
was *kicked" out of Hogs Head in the middle of overhearing. So he wasn't *banned* from
Hogs Head. So the important issue is, what's the reason he got kicked out? We don't know
yet. We can speculate, and in my opinion I think he got kicked out because he was banned
from there 4 years ago?  So yes, there is a big possibility that the eavesdropper was
Mundungus, who was banned from the pub 20 years ago, but he went back (for whatever
reason) 16 years ago and heard the prophecy and then got kicked out because he wasn't
supposed to be in there.  He also said Dumbledore once saved him from a big mess. Could
this be the big mess he was talking about?
