Why were the kids in Grimmauld Place? (was: Am I the only one)

Well, by the time Arthur was attacked, Molly WAS back at the Burrow.  
Fawkes went to warn her and she sent the message back to 12 GP with 
Fawkes.  I assumed the children were there so Harry could have 
company.  Harry needed WW type supervision because of Voldemort's 
plot, AND since Sirius was finally at a location he and his godson 
and legal ward (well, as legal as an escaped prisoner could have, 
LOl!) Harry could be together why not have Hermione and the Weasleys 
stay there too?  

Lynnette, who thinks Snape IS a good guy, even if he is NOT a nice
guy!
