I think that alot of things contributed to his death. One of them was Molly saying that he couldn't help Harry much while in Azkaban. Do you think for one second that Sirius was gonna pass up a chance to help Harry? I think Molly's words were ringing in his ears as he rushed to save Harry. Harry was so worried about Sirius that he didn't think it would be an image. Harry had never had an image like that before -- an entirely false memory.

And I'm going to take this moment to politely disagree with your "because I said so" comment. It doesn't work on kids. At all. As a teenager, I can tell you that absolutely *nothing* is more aggravating than not being told why you have to do something. If I were Harry, I'd wanna know everything right this second. He's out there risking his life to save everyone, and no one will even give him the full story. He's being told that while he's adult enough to fight for the fate of his world, he's not old enough to know why. That's bull. Harry is in a different position than everyone else. Dumbledore isn't the boss anymore. He may be the boss in school, but outside of school, in the war, Harry is their equal. He has fought the Dark Lord more times -- and survived -- than most of the people in the book. He hasn't fought Death Eaters or wizards under spells, he's fought the big man himself. I think the Order's refusal to let him know the whole story is going to be their downfall. It's already been Sirius'.
