But I've seen these discussion on why oh WHY
Dumbledore allow this and that (hence tons of
evil!manipulative!Dumbledore theories), and the dismal
status of wizard world's
educational/moral/child-raising issues.
<snip>

----------------------------
I was thinking that maybe DD wants Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Neville to
really believe Snape hates them. I am not saying that Snape doesn't dislike
them, but as it was said in SS not enough to kill them. Maybe Snape and/or
DD thought it best. Before you think I am crazy consider this.....

Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle are in that class. If Snape showed anything less
than contempt for Harry and his friends Draco would run straight to his
father. Snape wants to remain on the good side of Lucius for obvious
reasons. At some point Snape is going to have to pretend to be loyal to LV
and he has a better chance if he is really nice to Draco and then Draco
relays back how mean Snape is to Potter. Besides, DD must know Snapes job is
dangerous and does not want his true loyalty revealed. He may be afraid that
one of the kids could be persuaded into telling on Snape or worse maybe he
does not want them to feel they have to save Snape if something goes awry.
Just my thoughts.

Will someone please hit reply....I have been told my email is not working.

Thanks,
 Gina
