I like this potioncat!

Special mason-style groups and chances to assert sly power would seem
to me to be right up the Slytherin alley and speak to their forte'. 
Dumbledore's Army is now sufficiently large, that should there be a
new, open recruitment in Year 6 there'll be some Slytherins. 
Otherwise, they'd not've earned half their reputation of being able to
make the right connections.
