She decided to take example from Harry? :o) As others said, she is
getting rid of her fear of the name, but I would add not quite yet.
When she is referring to Voldie in this chapter it is not "Voldemort"
yet, it is "V-Voldemort". Well, at least it is not "You - know-who"
anymore. :o)

I would say Ron's reaction to "Vicky" has not changed at all since
GoF, or at least based on what we are allowed to see. Ron is jealous,
plain and simple. After rereading this chapter tonight, I think he is
very jealous, actually.

"Ron looked around at her so fast he appeared to crick his neck;
rubbing it, he said, "Yeah? What did Vicky say?" OoP, p.332

.........

"You are not still in contact with him, are you?"
"So what if I am ?' said hermione coolly, though her face was a
little pink. "I can have a pen pal if I --" p.333

I am actually interested why Hermione's face became a little pink. I
mean to me it is quite obvious that Ron has strong feelings for her
for a while, but does she or does she not. Is she pink because she
thinks about Krum as more than pen pal or is she pink because she
knows that Ron is annoyed and she does not like it? :o)

I thought that was actually very smart of her. I happened to believe
that it is easier to hide suspicious activity in the already
suspicious location .

Who will go look for Hogwarts students in this place? Of course, if
bartender is indeed Dumbledore's brother, they were watched quite
closely.

Well, I agree with potioncat. it is "by invitation" group and
Hermione does not really have any Slytherin friends. But, JKR, come
on. Please hurry. It is about time for a good Slytherin to show up.

I think I am starting to care about Harry and Ginny as future couple.
I do think that it JKR way to pass time till Harry is ready. Why
would she bother developing Ginny's character?

Nooooo, not as normal fifteen year old girl, if you ask me.
Hermione's explanations to Harry about Cho's feelings were just plain
annoying to me, even if she was right all the time, or maybe
specifically because she was right all the time.

Alla, who finds herself in complete agreement with Melody. :o) (good
questions, by the way)
