Does LV know Snape is at Hogwarts?

He has to. Even if LV "joined" Quirrel late in the game (I don't think
so) he was absolutely there when Quirrel confronted Harry.

Just about has to be, no? In the Muggle world, or any world that
makes sense, Snape is completely "blown" and could never "go
operational" again. The only possibility for Snape to be of any use
as an agent is that he's turned a DE into a double agent, and that DE
had better hope his Occlumency is up to snuff. My vote? Narcissa, who
might play both sides of the fence between Lucius and the Good Side
because of Draco.
Maybe JKR never read John LeCarre.

Very possible. As much as Snape hates Harry, he's always done his duty
to the Order. If only he'd do his duty as a teacher, he'd be a little
more likable.
