Amanar:
I agree with Strongbad. A particular quote that came to my mind is
this one:
"'Very well,' Snape cut in. 'We'll have another little chat soon,
when you've had time to think things over and *decided where your
loyalties lie*.'"
What loyalties? Loyalties either to DD or to LV. And I am absolutely
sure the DE who has left LV me forever is indeed Snape.

Amanar replies:
"Harry, who was starting to feel warm and sleepy, looked up at
the High Table again. [...] Professor Quirrell, in his absurd
turban, was talking to a teacher with greasy black hair, a hooked
nose, and sallow skin.
It happened very suddenly. The hook-nosed teacher looked past
Quirrell's turban straight into Harry's eyes -- and a sharp, hot
pain shot across the scar on Harry's forehead." (Chapter 7)
[Quirrel:] "When I failed to steal the stone from Gringotts, he was
most displeased. He punished me... decided he would have to keep a
closer watch on me...." (Chapter 17)
