About the twins' income sources, I'd just like to add that they were
doing quite well with the Canary Creams in book four (Harry noticed
how people were turning into canaries all over the place) and earned
lots of Galleons on the fireworks in book five. I wouldn't make the
analogy with teenagers who spend all their time playing video games,
the twins are rather more like those who spent their evenings and
nights in front of the computer, created original software and in the
end creating their own OS, while their parents complained that their
kids didn't get out more or grounded them from using the computer.
Lots of geniuses had only the most basic school training, Edison for
example. Einstein's teacher never thought he'd amount to much.
Neither does an education automatically mean that you are going to
get a good life.
