Likely not.  Like Dumbledad said, even Avada Kedavra can be easier to
understand that the Cruciatus Curse, and I certainly see nothing wrong
with using the Imperio Curse if it's used to make a DE "come along
quietly," for example.  Used that way it would actually avoid violence.
