At the risk of repeating what's already been said (sorry, List Elves,
I can't preview seven posts and find my way back to this one), I think
the reason that the Weasley kids were at Grimmauld Place is that both
their parents were there on Order business. The alternative was
leaving the kids at home. Fred and George may be "of age," but would
you leave them in the Burrow unsupervised for more than a few hours?
And they couldn't leave Hermione, Ron's guest, alone at the Burrow (or
send her home) while they took their own kids to Grimmauld Place. I
don't think they had any alternative but to take the twins, Ron,
Hermione, and Ginny with them to be houseguests in the charming Black
manor.

Carol, who also likes Molly and knows what it's like to be the parent
of a teenager
