I agree that for most people in the WW people may need a new wand as
they grow into their potential; but. as for Harry and Voldemort I do
not think this applies. There is something special about Fawkes
because he is the only dmoesticated pheonix we have seen. I would
say there is also something alittle extra in his donated feathers.
The Tom Riddle at 11 surely is not the Dark Lord Voldemort we know
today, yet he uses the same wand. I would think that Harry and He
will keep these wands forever. Voldemort will keep it because of all
the things he has accomplished with ir, and I think Harry will keep
it because it makes Voldemort's magic null and void. If Harry and
Voldemort get into another duel, all Harry has to do is cast a
simple spell and make Voldemorts wand ghosts appear. Then with
Voldemort essentially magicless, a young strong Harry can beat the
old frail thin Voldemort into submission. Imagine the humiliation of
Voldemort (the greatest socecerer in the world) getting beaten in a
muggle fight.
John who thinks Voldemort should go round for round with Mike Tyson
wandless.
