I thought that pun was very much intended. I thought that was the
whole point of the question. The person asking the question was
trying to hint that the shape of Harry's scar may be an ancient
rune...and that is the clue about the scar we're suppose to find out.
The part of the answer I liked was that JK said that the shape wasn't
the "most significant aspect". She didn't say it wasn't
significant...only that some other aspect was more significant.
Hmmmmm.

Is it possible that Harry's scar is some kind of birthmark? Could
this mark be a genetically inherited trait from one of the Hogwarts
founding members? Does the OoTP also have something to do with
reincarnation/rebirth? Was it originally created for a different
purpose? (Why is it named after a bird that continuously recycles
itself?) Did the mark appear to alert the Order of the child's
importance? I wonder if Dumbledore's scar (of the London Underground)
is also one of these inherited marks? Finally, is the prophecy being
read correctly?
