I've wondered about this too!  It was very funny on first read in 
POA, but after OOTP, by now we wonder... I've wondered whether Mark 
Twain's "Tragedy of Puddin'Head Wilson" and its two boys born the 
same day but switched and mistaken-- named Tom and Chamber-- is just 
echoed in the situation where Harry found that he was a wizard after 
seeing Dudly spoiled, or to be taken with Harry's thinking, "Neville 
Longbottom" as the first alias that popped into his mind, and what 
exactly might be going on.
