See my other posts on this subject...just because he is 16 doesn't mean that
it took place in the 6th year.
I did read your other posts and I still think that the Shrieking shack
incident took place in the sixth year, not in the fifth year. James had more of a
moral streak in him than he did in his fifth year. Remember the OWLs are taken
near the end of the school year. Snape wasn't paying particular attention as to
where MWPP were, if the Prank had happened before than I think that Snape
would have known exactly where they were and what they were talking about.
