I think he could die, because the prophecy says: "for neither can live while 
the other survives" - which only indicates that they will always sybolise 
the two sides of the war and fight each other until one of them is 
destroyed, but not that they are invincible by others - on the other hand, 
maybe that could be why Voldemort could never be defeated before (by DD 
etc.)...

I would love to see Lucius' expression, too, though.. *g*
