I wondered about that myself, but if you look back up this thread a 
few messages (though I don't know how to find the message number) 
you'll see that someone (I think it was Jen?) quoted a JKR interview 
where someone asked about just that, Wormtails debt to Harry being 
carried over to LV via Wormtails hand, and JK said 'No'.  Pretty 
plain and straightforward, there.

But what *else* could have been carried over or otherwise gone 
wrong?  Hmmmmmm . . . .
