Uh oh Predictions Again (was Predictions)

I was rethinking my statement that we "know" that Wormtail is the 
person referred to in the second prophesy.  I don't have my copy of 
GOF its out on loan.  Maybe someone can set me straight.  Could that 
prophesy have been referring to Crouch Jr.  How long was 
he "imprisioned" by his father?  IIRC by the time we get to the QWC 
he's able to throw off the Imperious curse. 

 IT WILL HAPPEN TONIGHT. THE DARK LORD LIES ALONE AND FRIENDLESS, 
ABANDONED BY HIS FOLLOWERS. HIS SERVANT HAS BEEN CHAINED THESE TWELVE 
YEARS. TONIGHT, BEFORE MIDNIGHT... THE SERVANT WILL BREAK FREE AND 
SET OUT TO REJOIN HIS MASTER. THE DARK LORD WILL RISE AGAIN WITH HIS 
SERVANTS AID, GREATER AND MORE TERRIBLE THAN EVER HE WAS. TONIGHT... 
BEFORE MIDNIGHT...THE SERVANT...WILL SET OUT...TO REJOIN...HIS 
MASTER....

Prophesy can almost never, if my knowledge of classical lit applies, 
be taken literally.  Crouch does far more to ensure the Dark Lord's 
rise than Wormtail.  Perhaps, that night before midnight, Crouch 
begins his saga towards being free from his father.  I know it may no 
longer be relevant, due to the fact that Crouch got kissed, but these 
darn prophesies are driving me through the roof.
I also like the theory that Kneasy put forward that the servant may 
have been Sirius, although it is making the headache worse!


Lady McBeth, needs to find something else to think about . . . do you 
think I could use runes or tarot cards to predict the predictions?
