Well, of course, you US folks are missing out on the fact that you 
can disguise your hardback UK Harry Potter inside a dust cover for 
something esoteric such as "A Short Treatise on Quantum Filaments and 
their relationship to Black Hole Theory", tiptoe into somewhere quiet 
where everyone speaks in hushed whispers such as the reading room of 
the British Museum and read what JKR has to say about Harry, Ron and 
Hermione while anyone looking over your shoulder does not become 
suspicious because they see no lurid illustrations or documents with 
mediaeval script headings........
