I agree with Lilian and Tanya - and the reasoning in Lilian's original post=
 about relative 
status, poverty, etc is spot on and thorough, I won't repeat what she's alr=
eady stated so 
clearly - 

But, I'm tempted to - because the logic supports my own little pet theory (=
ms #96654 - 
please forgive me for repeating myself somewhat).  

Is Snape related to (estranged from) Mr. Borgin?  

We met Mr. Borgin in CoS, as the proprietor of Borgin&Burkes, one of the la=
rgest and 
oldest dark-magic shops in Knockturn Alley.  There is even a physical resem=
blance and a 
tortured relationship with Lucius Malfoy. (Other reasons in my previous pos=
t I will not 
repeat.)

Anyone buy this?
