In ammendment to this post, I mean other than Ron's abilities at 
wizard's chess.   Does he have any special magical talent?

celletiger, who just learned how to play chess a few years ago 
*because* Ron and Harry play so often, and who's first chess set was 
the plastic wizard chess marketed with the HP franchise
