Harry had to exercise lots of self control with his money "to stop
himself from purchasing a handsome set of solid gold gobstones, a
wizarding game, rather like marbles in which the stones squirt a
nasty smelling liquid into the other player's face when they lose a
point. (POA, Ch. 4, the Leaky Cauldron, sorry no page #, from audio
book because my books have been lent to a friend. Funny how much
you miss them, even when they are away from you for a good cause...).
Rather painful game, eh? When I was a kid we played kickball,
colored eggs, mother-may-I, and lots of card and board games. We
never hurt each other, except maybe in dodge ball...
