Geoff:

I remember gobstones in the RW when I was a kid although I never 
played myself. There were five cube shaped stones - different 
colours - and the idea was something like you picked up one, threw it 
in the air and tried to pick up one of the others before it came 
down; then you threw it up again and tried to get two and so on 
(IIRC). I never played because I hadn't got the coordination to do it.
