Antosha:
There are two additional theories that come to mind.

First is that, while Harry was unconscious, DD very gently practiced Legilimancy on him--
so as to ascertain whether there was any present danger. This would explain why DD
himself knows so much. We know from OotP that he has the power to do this--the
question is, would he, without Harry's permission.

The other (a follow-up on the Ron/Hermione interrogation theory) is that some of the
teachers might have been curious/ticked off that their wonderful protective plants/
charms/spells/potions/etc. had been bested, and would want to know how. DD would
have told them--whatever his sources (whether ghostly or Harry's own memories)--since
he clearly revels in Harry's triumphant defeat of Lord Thingy.
