Jim agrees:

I think this is one of those times when an apple really is an apple.  
Every indication is that Sirius is dead and cannot come back to this 
life.  HOWEVER, look at the room, The Death Chamber.  What if this 
amphitheater like room, is like a stage where the dead and the living 
can communicate?  Somewhere in this thread, someone indicates that 
perhaps you have to have someone on that side of the veil to hear the 
voices.  If you can hear the voices, what if the person on the other 
side can come to the doorway (stone Archway hung with a black veil) 
and converse with you?  Sirius is gone but never forgotten....

What do you think?
