Luckdragon64 guesses:
according to Dumbledore: Peter owes Harry a life debt and there is a fate worse than death for Voldemort.
What would be worse than death for Voldemort? Why, being a common muggle of course. Harry with the help of all his supporters must find a way to destroy all of LV's powers leaving him completely unable to produce any magic ever again. There has to be a way of doing this. This means Harry will not have to commit murder, and I believe Peter will in some way either knowingly or unknowingly help bring this about. He will either realize the error of his ways, get sick of being Voldemorts "punching bag" so to speak, or screw up in a big way. I do believe it possible that Harry will have to go far back in time either to change something in the past, or to get advice from someone who is no longer living. Harry may also have to give up his own powers to make this happen.
