When I was rereading PS/SS a few week ago this occurred to me too.  
There has been discussion about Harry being immune to poisons on this 
list.  I wonder if having a drop of the Elixer of Life mixed with 
Fawkes' tears at the end of CoS has helped with him being immune to 
poisons.  

This could be interesting in future books.
