In my world Snape is Dumbledore's main go-to man, his aide-de-camp 
and trusted lieutenant.  While other characters come in and out of 
the plot line, Snape is always involved, (and always secretly 
watching Harry's back).

I'm going to have to dash, but I think I've posted some of my ideas 
regarding Snape in the SS, previously.  I'll check later tonight and 
either send you some old post numbers, or put a new post out.
