Harry realises this himself. One of the interesting bits of OOTP is
when he's finished hitting the roof after the MoM fight and after the
news of Voldemort's return has become public.
"Perhaps the reason he wanted to be alone was because he had felt
isolated from everybody since his talk with Dumbledore. An invisible
barrier separated him from the rest of the world. He was - he had
always been - a marked man. It was just that he had never understood
what that meant..."

I have always found that section where Harry goes down to the lake on
his own particularly poignant.
