I still think that qualifies as "extremely rare" though.
Moreover, they are in the first book, when JKR didn't know if the
following books would be published, so she didn't have to keep
strictly to Harry's point of view.
Can you remember if there are any more scenes in the other books where
JKR broke that rule ? I have only GoF and OoP with me, so I can't
check CoS and PoA.
