Perhaps I missed a sentence or two in GoF, or its just been so long
since I've read it straight through, but I dont ever remember Harry
choosing Ron. Seems to me Ron was chosen for him.
I can see the powers that chose saying, "well, Krum hasn't brought
anyone with him and he seems to be pretty fond of Hermy so lets pair
them up and go ahead and pair up Potter and Weasly."
