Carol responds:
As one who is quite happy to leave Sirius as he is and get on with the
story, I may be a bit prejudiced here. But I think it's quite possible
that we've already had our symbolic journey into the "underworld,"
complete with a three-headed dog bought from a "Greek chappie"
(significance, anyone?) in Book 1. (BTW, that's another place where
the filmmakers messed up, changing the nationality of the "chappie.")
