(First inserts the disclaimer that she has never seen this theory 
before and apologizes if it is a repeat).

It just dawned on me that the reason Neville was not "visited" first 
from LV because LV did not have the info on him like he did for 
Harry.  Many of us speculate that the Longbottoms, or at the very 
least, Neville, was in hiding, as were the Potters, do to the 
vagueness of the prophecy and the possibility that it could be 
referring to either one of them. The Longbottoms secret-keeper, (if 
that is what they used), was probably a bit more reliable than the 
one that the Potters used.  

With the new info that Nevilles birthday is the 30th, and if it 
means anything relevant to the story,  I am still not sure if it was 
LV who actually picked his nemesis, or if the prophecy meant Harry 
all along, that remains to be seen.
