We all realize it was very hard on Sirius to be back at Grimmauld 
Place where he used to suffer abuse on a daily basis, even 
though the abusers are gone and he is now master of the 
house. We're inclined to make excuses for his sullen mood and 
his unkindness toward Kreacher on that account. What is it like 
for Snape to be at Hogwarts, where he suffered the same sort of 
thing?
