HOLD IT!
I was happily watching everyone else fight this battle but I HAVE to 
step in here.

NOWHERE is it indicated that DD had ANYTHING to do with Snape 
revealing his Dark Mark. As it's written, that revelation is a 
spontaneous act of desperation (rare for Snape)in an attempt to 
force Fudge to face the fact that Voldemort has returned. 
It was also considerably dangerous.
