I must respectfully disagree.
Neville didn't actually get any choice as to what form his boggart would take. He did say
that Snape scared him more than anything else in the world, to be sure, but it wasn't his
statement that determined the boggart's form. It was the fear itself.
Had Neville feared Voldemort or Bellatrix more, then the boggart would have taken that
form instead, regardless of what he'd said in front of his classmates.
Not that Neville was in any way inclined to tell his classmates about his family background,
mind you...
