"He will mark
 him as his equal."

JKR said today that the fact that both Harry and Voldemort survived in PS was crucial. Now I'm wondering if Voldie hasn't marked anyone yet (sorry if this has been done before). The term "mark" is quite ambiguous (says I with a thesaurus on her lap) It could be symbolic e.g. darm mark sort of thing, it can be used in relation to the achievment of a goal, it could refer to a scar (not necessarily Harry's), it can mean an evaluation of ability and it can refer to a simple observation (e.g. one day Voldie just decides that Harry is his equal). I think that Dumbledore's interpretation of the prophecy may be misleading as we have been in awe of his infalliable wisdom for thousands of pages now. What do you think?
