JKR said, "Erm..I don't think so" when asked if there was a 
correlation between Snape and Vampires.  This is JKR speak we are 
talking about.  The "Erm... I don't think so" is not saying ,"No, 
Snape is not a Vampire." She still could be tricking us.  She is 
saying she doesn't think so but that still leaves a little room 
for "yes, he might me."  I will only take my hat off after book 7 is 
over and it concludes with Snape not being a vamp.  Up until then I 
still think it is possible.   Diana
