This is not a hot topic for me as I could care less if Snape was a 
Vampire or not.  But...if JK did answer the question in any of the 
above mentioned ways some would automatically come to the conclusion 
that there is a connection.  JK could have said, "no, there is not a 
connection" and the subject would have been dropped.  She did not.  
She left it open to discussion, which I think is brilliant on her
