I don't think I do; I present it in context with other things; by
itself, it isn't much.

Yes, someone might, but I just re-read the scene and I still feel the
spontaneity of Harry's answer.  Prejudiced? Maybe.  And there's
something more there.  Cho is jealous of Hermione with respect to
Harry.  Why? I wonder if she senses their closeness.

That's not an unfair reading, IMO.

One other thing: Although I don't see either Ron or Hermione being
happy together, I have no problem with H/G at all.  She's a great kid.
 I love the way she integrates Fred and George while keeping a lid on
their wilder tendencies while staying feminine all at the same time. 
I have to come down on the H/H side because they really, really, click.
